Local Interest...

My honey and I really enjoyed the church we attended today...we think this might be our temporary church home!  I was hoping to make a connection with someone there today, but I guess I need to give it a little more time.  The pastor and staff were very friendly and the people also seemed nice.  Thankfully, Jason did not get called to the hospital while we were there.  We still don't have the rental car that my honey's agency promised him, so we are a one car family...this takes a little planning ahead and I would have had to leave church if he had been called to the hospital during the service.  This is something we hope will be fixed soon...especially if I get a job soon.
The weather here today is amazing with temperatures in the 70's with a breeze!!  We walked to a little mexican restaurant for lunch and then walked downtown and came upon "Metal Fest" which is where a bunch of heavy metal bands come and play outside the Red Rooster coffee house...quite interesting!

Here is Ms. P taking a nap in her bedroom.

And here is Mr. Winston chilling on the couch!

Mr. Winston and my honey relaxing.

This is something I have never seen before...an aluminum can bank.  You push a button and then put your cans into a hole and then the machine gives you some change...I love all of the ways they encourage recycling here in South Dakota...it makes it so much more doable.

Here is the older part of the hospital - St. Luke's - where my honey is working.

This is another picture of the older part of St. Luke's.  I think it is so pretty...notice the beautiful shade trees and the blue skies!
