Progress...

Well, the video that I uploaded of Ms. Penelope was one of four and it wasn't even the best one, but it took like 3-4 hours just to get that one on the blog.  So until I find a more efficient way, I will have to wait to post videos!
Its finally Friday and my honey made it through the week with flying colors and now has a weekend of call to look forward to!  Hopefully, we'll still be able to have a relaxing weekend together.  It looks like I am going to be working (volunteering) in the gift shop at the hospital and will meet with the lady on Monday to go through orientation!  I'm very excited because I can be in the hospital but do something totally different than nursing, I can wear real clothes and learn how to use a cash register (which I have always wanted to do)!  Also, I found a gym that is offering yoga classes 3 times a week that I will be able to start participating in next week!!
Our friends Becca and Tony Sconza are going to be in Minnesota at the beginning of next month and we are going to drive over to Minneapolis to meet up with them...it will be so great to see familiar faces!
I'm still trying to find a friend here in Aberdeen, but I'm thinking that my prospects will greatly improve once I start yoga and volunteering:)
I have taken a few more pictures of things around our house so here they are:

This is Ernest, my honey's rental car that we finally got two days ago!

This is the beautiful catholic church in Aberdeen...I LOVE it.  The architecture is amazing and the fact that a small town has such a beautiful building is fascinating.  Although, the town of Aberdeen is also known as "the hub city", so it has been the center of things for a long time.

Another picture of the side of the church...the windows are so ornate.

I thought this was funny because in the "laundry room" there are two separate piles of clothes on the whole bed and, of course, that's where the kitties choose to lay!!

This is one of the historical elevators that we use in our hotel...they are faster and feel more stable than our elevators where we used to live!

This is our front door...3P!  Hope you enjoyed the pics!

Love to all!

  1. Hey I love Ernest. He reminds me a little bit of Herbie in the "eyes"!! Ha! I love these blogs! When you get Miss P's videos better I am going to show them to Meeshac. I love you. I am so proud that FINALLY you will get play with a cash register. OK everyone out there in blog land you should know that that was what Amanda wanted for Christmas every year - a cash register. You may ask why was that such a hard thing for a mother to get her little girl for Christmas - a toy cash register. But wait, she didn't want a toy register. She wanted the real thing. She wanted one just like that had in stores and could not understand why we wouldn't buy her one. Good things come to those who wait sweetie. Ha!
