The scenery along the highway coming and going!
This is a railroad bridge at Falls Park, Sioux Falls, SD.
There were some historical buildings around the falls which were very interesting.
Yours truly....
The building seen is an old mill that had five different floors originally.
You can't see it very well, but there is a bridge going across to a building where there was a little cafe and ice cream shop. You can see someone down on the rocks. It was a very pretty area.
The wind blows a lot here! Self-portraits aren't always the best:)
Thankfully, a kind gentleman took our picture since we were struggling with the self-portrait thing.
There was a tower that overlooked the park where we took these pictures. You can barely see the cathedral in the back right corner.
This is looking back toward a HUGE stockyard and meat processing plant...kinda made my stomach turn.
I love cathedrals and am always excited to find new ones. It amazes me that these beautiful, ornate buildings make it to big cities as well as very remote places.
So, that's your tour of Sioux Falls, SD. Sorry, no pictures of the mall or downtown, those will be left up to your imagination!
