Part III...

This is the third and final installment of the story of our trip out to the western part of South Dakota.  Refer back to the first post to read the details of our adventure.

The cute Penny Motel that we stayed in in Deadwood!

These were the very steep stairs that my honey had to carry our suitcase up!!  But the scenery was beautiful when we saw it the next morning in the daylight.

Here I am at the bottom of the stairs.  And the sweet little white chapel across the street.

My sweet honey and me.  It was raining and cold, but we were happy!

Pretty self-explanatory.

The bus for the "original deadwood tour" that took us around town and to Mt. Moriah.

Me at Wild Bill's grave.

"Calamity Jane's" grave site which is right beside "Wild Bill's".

One side of the street in Deadwood.  And the Historic Bullock Hotel...Bullock was the sheriff of Deadwood.

My first time to "play the slots"...I lost a dollar...I'm a big spender!

This is when I when I was asked to play a role in the re-enactment of Wild Bill's shooting!

Here we are with Wild Bill and his assassin.

Entering some of the most beautiful scenery I have seen!

I promise this is not a postcard...it really is this gorgeous.  Amazing, huh?

We were freezing, but it was so beautiful we had to get a picture.

One of the best vacations we have ever had!!
