Beard Blog, Entry 1

Hello everyone, yes it is Jason again; blogging twice on the same day.  As most of you know, I am not in any way a good beard-grower.  I've attempted on two occasions in the past and come up with shaggy, thin, reddish-brown areas on my face that wouldn't pass as a beard except on a desert island or living under an overpass.  Well, recent impressive beard exploits by Tim King and Justin Lamb (as well as an annual beard by Jeff and beard on a whim at any time by Jameson my YOUNGER brothers) have inspired me to once again give it my best.  Now that we have a blog, I figured I'd keep the progress on this sort of like weekly weigh-ins for a dieter or bench press max-offs for weight-lifters.  I have to go back to work next week, so hopefully it is respectable enough to keep through that time and see where we get by Halloween and on into November!  Here goes with Picture update number 1, Day 17 without shaving:
Feel free to comment on whether you think I should continue or abort this "challenge" and I'll get another entry onto the beard blog in a few days.

Jason

  1. OK I don't think this picture gives everyone a true impression to comment on. This pic makes your hair as well as your eyebrow look like they are brown with a reddish tint which actually goes with your beard. (How did you do that?) It doesn't show your very dark hair and green eyes sooo I think as a choosy consumer we need another picture that is more color true. Then I will be glad to comment (and no you can not block my post). As far as growth it is looking pretty promising for fullness and I guess that is what you are going for. Keep pushing those little whiskers out and you may look like Jeremiah Johnson by Halloween!
