As you saw in the last post, I opened my wonderful presents in bed and loved the sweet things that people sent me. Later, my honey and I went on a drive on the "Enchanted Circle Scenic Highway". Then my honey took me to a fancy mexican restaurant called, Sabor. It was delicious and they make fresh guacamole at your table...mom, you would've been in heaven with this fresh guac!! The food was amazing and the atmosphere was romantic. I enjoyed getting to dress up and feel fancy. Then we went to the Taos Inn where you can sit in the lobby and enjoy live music while you dine. We got something to drink and an amazing dessert! It was an apple cobbler that had homemade ice cream on top...yummy! Then we came home and relaxed.
Yesterday, I received two more presents from my parent-in-laws and my brother and sister-in-law! So sweet to be thought of.
Also yesterday, I had my final day of snowboarding school and I am completely banged up now with a bruised tailbone, hurt L ankle, R shoulder, both knees and both shins are still hurt! I'm glad we made it through this vacation week alive and I'm glad that its over for now!!
Thanks to everyone who sent sweet birthday wishes to me and for everyone who called me to say "happy birthday" (Auntie...).
I love you guys and am grateful for you all.
Amanda
My honey and me at the restaurant!
What's left of the amazing guacamole...don't worry we finished it off after the picture!
Another pic of us at Sabor, I had wanted my new boots from my honey to show, but they don't. I love them and they are so fancy!
This is what's left of the amazing apple cobbler...yummy!
The live music was '30's folk...it was so fun and relaxing!
My sweet honey with his new local favorite brew...we really enjoyed our time at the Taos Inn and it was very romantic!
Here is a picture of the flowers and balloons that my dad sent me...it also came with a box of chocolates! A very sweet surprise!
