We are going to try a church this morning called New Life Fellowship (I think). I found it on the internet before we came and we decided to give it a try. My honey is on call today, so hopefully he won't get called during the service. I hope that we can meet some people at the church and start to make some friends.
This afternoon I look forward to walking one of the beautiful trails around here to enjoy the peace of this beautiful Sunday. My honey and I walked one of the trails two days ago and it was very nice. There are 22 miles of trails around Aberdeen and they are very well kept and mapped out for the public...I look forward to getting my cardio out of doors while we are here!
My honey is learning more and more about the hospital and it is quite an impressive place with super nice staff and an abundance of resources for such a small town.
I found out two days ago that the hospital clinics need a PRN nurse to float...I was frustrated when I found that out since before I came I was told there was no need for me. Because I didn't think they needed me, I did not send my application for licensure in South Dakota. Now, I'm not sure if I can get the license soon enough for this possible job to work out. It seems like just when I accept that things are going to be one way, they change!! Thankfully, God does not change at all and I can anchor myself on that fact.
Well, everyone have a great Sunday!
Him + Her = Home,
Amanda
