Packing up in Wausau...Goodbye to many new friends!

Hello Everyone!

We had a really great time in Wausau, WI.  We got prepared for a horrendous winter and actually did well...having fun along the way.  We were there for 5 1/2 months in all, the second longest stay in our travels, and will miss our "home" there and our new friends.

The doctors at my clinic were great and definitely smart.  This is Lori, one of the more established docs in the group, she was at the office where I started and was a ton of fun.  Always ready to talk your ear off for sure.  Her family had us over for Christmas dinner and then New Years dessert...she even took us out to say goodbye on Valentine's, the day before we left.  Don't worry, I took Mandi to an amazing dinner on the 13th at a steakhouse called Wish and we had a couples massage.  Other docs in the group were Melissa the boss, Wendy the new ex-hospitalist that was so fun, Dave Mathias, and Jodi with her quadruplets at home and still calm and soft-spoken...a great group.

The Marshfield Clinic nurses.  Always helpful and quite a team to work with.  From left to right, Amy who worked at the hospital also, Tracy who set up great Packer parties, Mary, Brenda who is having a baby any day, Keri, and Tami.  I'll miss them all for sure.

Ms. P once again said "don't leave me...I'm hunkering down in a drawer!"

Our new trailer and our great cozy apartment behind.  A great temporary home that was so nice and comfortable...will be hard to match.  Oh well, off on the road again, back to Oregon!

We'll be back very soon with pictures of our journey across country one more time.
Jason
