The Journey to Change...

Our empty loft...mixed feelings upon leaving our first home together.  I really enjoyed living there at Athens Flatts, Downtown Birmingham, AL.

Last load...notice the shotgun sticking out of the cart and yes, the kitties are in the carrier ready to "roll out".

Mr. Winston and P a little sleepy and unsure of what is happening.

The back of Stella (my SUV)...as full as we could pack her.  Notice the kitties barely fit!

The greatest idea ever (unfortunately we didn't think of it until the morning we left (4 hours late, BTW) when we realized that everything wasn't going to fit!).  That thing was so heavy it almost drove me and my honey to cussing!

This is Ms. P on drugs...I promise I have taught her better than laying in her poop box!  I think she got into the litter box and then forgot why she was there and just decided to sleep there for a while.  She probably rode in the litter box for about 2-3 hours!!

My honey, who I couldn't do this adventure without, driving the majority of the way to our stop in Clinton, MO, because I had a migraine:(

Beautiful picture of the sun streaming through the clouds.

Now, this is flat...there was always either corn, wheat, soybeans or sod growing in fields like this along the highway.

Ms. P looking out the front wondering where in the world we are taking her!
